今天的听力考试各部分的场景和题型还是比较常规的，关键是积累考题背景、用词搭配以及考点。各位参加考试的同学们可以参考以下回忆内容。
Part 1 家里漏水，保险理赔
Part1为旧题，其中数字和字母，星期等的考点已经是老生常谈了。今天相对较难的拼写词汇是pipe(根据拼读可以猜拼)是管道的意思。类似的理赔篇目可以参考《九分达人雅思听力真题还原及解析1》T3P1“returning the rice cooker”和剑桥雅思真题8T2P1等，关注常规的问题：保单号，投保人个人信息，历次保修经历，此次保修的细节，赔偿等。

本篇常规十个填空题。除了其中seasonal nomadic 是季节游牧，descendants子孙后代，veil面纱等卷面难词之外，填空处多个空格是两个单词:olive oil, grass leaves, dark blue也是造成失分的地方。如果缺少必要信息是非常可惜的。

备考tips：
今天我们分享一道新季度出现的题目：修理
Fixing things
Can you fix things?
Did anybody teach you to fix things when you were a child?
Do you think it is necessary for people to learn to fix things?
What do you do when a thing is broken and cannot be fixed?
这个主题是修理，也就是让我们聊动手能力的，把坏的东西给修补好了。一般来说，修理的都是日常小东西，比如闹钟啊，键盘啊，袜子啊，拉链啊甚至是一些家庭用品，马桶，洗碗机，扫地机器人等等。
常见的修理动作，包括了找到哪里坏了identify the problem area，填充refuel (这个坏了的东西)with sth 燃料，替换replace (零部件)，twist 旋转线一类的材料，tape 贴上胶布，清理干净clean/remove debris（dust） 等等。
常见的修理工具，例如剪刀scissors, 钳子pliers, 螺丝刀 screwdriver， 扳手 wrench, 卷尺 tape measure, 锤子 hammer，钉子 nails, screws, 铲子file ,针needle 等等。
当然也可以不修，直接扔了买新的或者找维修店来修，也是绝对没问题的。

写作部分
小作文：
线图+表格。线图是平均工作时长，各时间段比较; 表格是带薪休假的平均天数。

好久不见的组合图，所以两段内容不一样的情况下，大概一幅图写一段就可以啦。但是要关注这两幅图之间的关联性，即随着over 45 h 的人数下降，人均paid holiday的人数在总体上升。
大作文：
Some people think more public money should be spent on roads and motorways than on public transport systems. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
有些人认为应该在道路和高速公路上花费更多的公共资金，而不是用于公共交通系统。你在多大程度上同意或不同意这种观点？
对于这道题和上周的题目如出一辙，都是比较简单的should 题型，所以还是就这一件事的利弊开始讲。正方观点推荐：可以讲提升交通效率，减少通勤的时间;反方观点：可以从环保出发。
主旨句推荐如下：

考生公认是没有C18后两套题来得难度大，有点波折的也就是第三篇文章，但阅读分数要求是6.5及以下的同学稳定发挥前两篇也能达标了，所以不用太有压力。

分析：Passage 1的经济作物家族又添新成员（真的别再考咖啡了，考麻了都……）。作为一篇Passage 1，行文脉络清晰，题型搭配友好。唯一需要注意的就是农业类的文章考生们在真题中可能比较少见（但其实C18的第一篇文章就是，近几年的比重还是有提升的），在备考的时候要注意关注。

分析：2019年的次新题，8月的第一次出现Heading，也不知道今年的配题老师和多选有什么深仇大恨，就是猛考特殊词匹配怎么也不出多选。内容上来说的话，是通过卫星来观察城市的夜间灯光，从而考察和城市经济之间的关系。一般来讲，夜间灯光照明变化能明确反映出城市规模扩展和经济繁荣状况。 夜晚灯光越明亮的地区，说明经济越发达，社会公用设施先进，人民富裕，有充足的时间和便利条件进行娱乐活动和夜生活。 反之，晚上越黑暗，说明经济越落后，社会公用设施欠发达，人民生活水平比较低，夜晚娱乐活动比较缺乏。
